Hrithik Roshan is winning hearts with his latest release Super 30! The film opened decently with Rs 11 crore opening and within 10 days, it has entered the 100 crore-club. After two years of blockbuster Kabil, Hrithik managed to release a successful biopic. Despite having tough competition like Kabir Singh and The Lion King, Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30 is touching the sky.
Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his microblogging site, Twitter to share the details about the success.
The biopic is about Patna-based mathematician Anand Kumar, who runs an educational program called Super 30. It is for underprivileged children and to prepare them for the IIT entrance exam.
In a recent interview, Hrithik Roshan expressed his happiness over Super 30 box office success. Talking about the same, Hrithik told Hindustan Times, “Yes, there is a feeling of satisfaction and of immense happiness. It is similar to how I felt when my first film Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai (2000) had released. Box-office collections do have some sort of importance, as they indicate that the audiences have accepted your work and connected to it in some way.”
The film also stars Nandish Sandhu, Aditya Shrivastava, Virendra Saxena, Pankaj Tripathi and Amit Sadh in supporting roles. It has been helmed by Vikas Bahl and produced by Phantom Films, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Reliance Entertainment. After facing much delay, the film finally hit the silver screens on July 12, 2019.
After doing an offbeat character in Super 30, Hrithik is all set to be an action hero opposite Tiger Shroff in the upcoming film War.
