Hoax bomb threat to actor Rajinikanth’s house; Chennai police shocked after tracing caller
Superstar Rajinikanth has a humongous fan following, so when the Thalaiva received a bomb threat the Chennai police immediately sprung into action. A unanimous phone call was made to the police control room in Chennai. The caller stated that a bomb has been planted at actor Rajinikanth’s house in Poes Garden.
The Chennai Police promptly got the bomb squad into action. They rushed to the Poes Garden residence and conducted a thorough search but found nothing. The police next started tracing the caller. Turns out it was a student from Nellikuppam near Cuddalore.
To the shock of the police personnel, the caller was a Class VIII student with learning difficulties. In his statement, the boy has said that no one called his number. So he decided to call the police control room. The cops have decided to deal with the issue in a compassionate manner. The student was let off after police conducted an investigation and scanning his medical reports.
On the work front, Rajinikanth was last seen in AR Murugadoss’s action drama Darbar. The movie also featured Lady Supestar Nayanthara in a pivotal role. The Megastar will next be seen in another project titled Annaatthe. The action drama is helmed by Siva is currently put on a halt due to the lockdown.
The Rajinikanth starrer also has the national award-winning actress Keerthy Suresh along with Nayanthara, Khushbu Sundar, Meena, and Prakash Raj in key roles.
Annaatthe is been bankrolled by Sun Pictures, and music for the film is composed of D.Imman.
