Recently, the government of Maharashtra announced the opening of theatres from October 22 which was closed down after the second wave of COVID 19. With this, many Bollywood movies will be clashing at the box office, and this includes Tiger Shroff’s ‘Heropanti 2’ and Ajay Devgn’s ‘MayDay.’
‘Heropanti 2’ and ‘MayDay’ will hit the theatres on April 29 next year.

Announcing the same, Tiger Shroff shared the new poster featuring Tara and wrote: “Happy to announce that I share with you that our film #Heropanti2 will be releasing in theatres near you on Eid 2022! Agli Eid bitayenge aapke saath ❤️ @khan_ahmedasas @TaraSutaria @Nawazuddin_S @arrahman @rajatsaroraa @WardaNadiadwala @NGEMovies #sajidnadiadwala”
Devgn also took to his social media to announce the release date and wrote: “Ah, at last the news of cinema theatres opening in October, in Maharashtra, is long-awaited and terrific. As promised earlier, the aviation-thriller drama, produced & directed by me, starring @SrBachchan, @Rakulpreet & Me in the lead, will release on 29th April, 2022.
#MayDay”
‘MayDay’ is directed and produced by Ajay Devgn. The film also stars Devgn, Al-Mamun Al Siyam, Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet Singh. Whereas, ‘Heropanti’ is the sequel of Tiger and Kriti Sanon’s 2014 debut film. The movie is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson whereas Ahmed Khan will serve as the director. It will also star Nawazuddin Siddique.
Akshay Kumar’s ‘Raksha Bandhan’ and Prabhas’ film ‘Adipurush’ release dates are also clashing.
