Rafaam Hero & new cards coming to Hearthstone Battlegrounds in December 5 patch
Hearthstone Battlegrounds to get a new update on December 5
Hearthstone principal game designer Mike Donais has been dropping Hearthstone Battlegrounds hints over popular streaming platform, Twitch. On two different occasions now Donais has teased the release of Rafaam, leader of the League of EVIL.
As per the Donais’ recent statement, it is likely that the new hero Rafaam will join Battlegrounds on December 5. It is still not clear whether Rafaam will properly function in Battlegrounds or not. Arch-Thief Rafaam will be coming in an upcoming patch on December 5.
Rafaam is all set to join two new playable Battlegrounds cards. One is based on an actual card from Hearthstone’s past.
Floating Watcher is a card that belongs to Hearthstone’s Goblins vs. Gnomes set. Though the card may be different when implemented to Battlegrounds, in its previous form Floating Watcher was a 4/4 Demon that gains +2/+2 when your Hero takes damage on your turn.
The second card, which was earlier confirmed in the blog post is King Bagurgle. A Tier 5 Murloc that gives his tribal allies a little extra oomph when he is played and dies, King Bagurgle’s presence will almost certainly be felt by the opponents. His upgraded version packs an even bigger punch upon dying.
The fans of Battlegrounds would have not have longer to take Rafaam and company for a spin. Rafaam, Bagurgle, and Floating Watcher are all expected to join Battlegrounds with the modes December 5, 2019 update.
