39-year-old HDFC vice President Siddharth Sanghvi’s car was found on Thursday in Navi Mumbai with blood stains on the back seat, who has been missing from his Kamala Mills office under some mysterious circumstances since Wednesday.
Siddharth Sanghvi who has not returned to his home after leaving office on Wednesday, Police suspect this could be an abduction case and the case been registered against an unidentified person at Mumbai’s NM Joshi Marg Police Station. Sanghvi lives in Malabar Hill area in South Mumbai. He is designated as the vice president of HDFC Bank in Kamala Mill compound.
Senior HDFC Bank executive told Moneycontrol, “In an unfortunate incident, one of our executives has gone missing. All of us are praying for his well-being and safe return. The police are doing their best to locate him and we are cooperating with them fully.”
“He left for work at his usual time… and we have learnt that he left the office at around 7.30 pm. We could see him walking out of his branch but we could not locate his car while leaving the Kamala Mill premises on any CCTV camera,” said a police officer.
According to the Police, Sanghvi’s phone was switched off before leaving his office, “We have checked his call data record and found his last location at Kamala Mills. As his wife could not reach him till 10 pm, she came to the police station and registered a missing complaint on Wednesday itself,” the officer told The Indian Express.
Investigations are underway and efforts are on trace him while investigating the Sanghvi’s whereabouts, the Police found an abandoned car with blood stains on back site. “We had sent a wireless message to all police stations across Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Thane. Accordingly, the Airoli police informed us after they found Sanghvi’s Maruti Ignis car,” an officer said.
