The Chief Minister of Haryana Manohar Lal Khattar has been tested positive for Coronavirus, he took to his social media handle to announce the same, he also urged his colleagues and associates to get themselves tested for the same.
He took to his Twitter and wrote, “I was tested for Novel Corona Virus today. My test report has returned positive.”
I appeal to all colleagues and associates who came in my contact over the last week to get themselves tested. I request my close contacts to move into strict quarantine immediately,” wrote Manohar Lal in his tweet.
On Thursday, the Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar had already quarantined himself after Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat has tested positive for COVID-19. He and Khattar met for a meeting on the Sutlej Yamuna Link on August 18. On August 21, Khattar was tested for COVID, but his report came negative.
“Dear friends,
I have come in contact with many people in the past who have got symptoms of corona.
However, I have got my corona test done, which has come negative but as a precaution I am quarantining myself for 3 days.
Stay alert, stay safe,” he wrote in Hindi.
Earlier, Haryana Assembly Speaker Gian Chand Gupta and two BJP MLAs Aseem Goel and Ram Kumar had also tested positive for the novel Coronavirus.
