The 63rd Grammy Awards is all set to premiere on Sunday, March 14, 2021, on CBS. The Awards have secured a Golden Performer to open the starry night. Yes, Sunday’s broadcast will begin with a performance from Harry Styles. Variety recently confirmed that The Adore You singer will be kicking off the 2021 Grammys! He is also nominated for three awards during this year’s star-studded event.
The former One Direction member is nominated for Three Grammys — Best Pop Vocal Album for “Fine Line”, Best Pop Solo Performance for “Watermelon Sugar” and Best Music Video for “Adore You”.
Jack Sussman, CBS executive VP of specials, music and live events, confirmed the performance and said, “You don’t want to miss the top of the show. It’s going to be music coming at you heavy and hard like you’ve not seen it before. We’ve got Harry Styles, this incredible entertainer, at the top of the show and we’ll just keep coming at you.”
Also scheduled to perform during Sunday’s three-and-a-half-hour show are BTS, Taylor Swift, Cardi B, Post Malone, Billie Eilish, Doja Cat, Miranda Lambert, Megan Thee Stallion, Mickey Guyton, HAIM, Brittany Howard, Lil Baby, Chris Martin, John Mayer, Maren Morris, Post Malone among others.
The Grammy Awards will be hosted by Trevor Noah. It will air Sunday, March 14, at 8 p.m. EST/5 p.m. PST on CBS Television Network and Paramount+.
On the work front, Harry also has The Policeman with English actor David Dawson and also The Crown alum Emma Corrin.
