Harry Styles has finally confirmed the meaning of his hit song Watermelon Sugar. The 27-year-old entertainer revealed the real meaning behind his song, during his Love On Tour stop in Nashville, Tenn on Friday (October 1),
“It doesn’t really matter what it’s about,” Styles began at one of his Nashville concerts, attempting to leave things somewhat up for interpretation before stating that “Watermelon Sugar” is about “the sweetness of life … It’s also about the female orgasm.”
“But that’s totally different. It’s not really relevant,” he added.

Harry first released Watermelon Sugar in 2019. But he never opened up on the real meaning of the song. During an interview in November 2020, Zane Lowe asked Harry if “Watermelon Sugar” is about “the joys of mutually appreciated oral pleasure.” Harry deflected the question by responding, “Is that what it’s about?”
Harry is busy with his rescheduled Love on Tour trek. It has been brimming with live music and memorable moments. Styles is known to interact with his fans during his live performances. He is doing the same on the tour. Harry helped a pregnant fan reveal the sex of her baby in front of the crowd earlier this week. The singer was also seen doling out dating advice to a fan recently.
