FIR lodged against Hard Kaur for abusive remarks against UP CM Yogi Adityanath and RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat

Rapper Hard Kaur is booked for her abusive remarks against UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat. She made the remarks separately on her Instagram handle. According to news agency ANI, an FIR has been lodged against the rapper by a lawyer Shashank Shekhar from Varanasi, under IPC Sections 124A (sedition), 153A (promoting enmity between different groups on ground of religion), 500 (defamation), 505 (intent to incite) and Section 66 of the IT Act.

The complaint will be forwarded to the cyber cell for further investigation. As reported by Amar Ujala, the investigation has been handed over to the Crime Branch’s Surveillance Cell.
