India vs Windies: Harbhajan Singh gets trolled after ‘disrespectful’ West Indies tweet
Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh was at the receiving end of a lot of criticism by the fans, who were left irked by one of his tweet where the off-spinner criticised the West Indies team for their lack of competition in the ongoing Test match against India at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot.
Helped by centuries from Prithvi Shaw, skipper Virat Kohli, and Ravindra Jadeja, India declared their innings after posting a mammoth score of 649/9. In reply, West Indies were reeling at 94/6 at the end of the second day.
Their performance was, however, not seen as proper by the 38-year-old, who commenting on their dismal performance put up a scathing tweet against the visiting team, which was considered by many as ‘disrespectful’ and ‘shameful.’
“With all due respect to West Indies Cricket but I have a question for u all…will this West Indies team qualify for Ranji quarters from the plate group? Elite se to nahin hoga (they don’t stand a chance in the elite group),” tweeted Harbhajan.

But while the cricketer was making a fair point as the visiting team failed to put a fighting contest, his tweet didn’t impress the fans, who let their harsh feelings be known on social media.
With all due respect… this kind of behaviour is the reason you are sitting here and tweeting instead of playing. Very Disrespectful.

How about try to be a little respectful??Also WI has won a test match in Eng & UAE(vs Pak) each. They are missing few of their key players in this match.

Without any respect, this is the same WI that got BAN for 41 runs. The same BAN that won on AUS and ENG. So please have some respect for other cricketing nations sir ji.

Being a former cricketer.. this is quite shameful..

Some fans also pointed out that foreign players also feel the same when India go on overseas tours and are whitewashed in consecutive series. India had lost 1-4 to England most recently, which was India’s third consecutive Test series defeat there, after the 0-4 whitewash in 2011 and 1-4 defeat in 2014.
If English ex cricketgers had made such comments about our teams the previous tours in 2011 and 2014, how would you have reacted? Disrespectful
