Anushka Sharma leads the wishes that flew in for Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli who turned 30 today.
Kohli and Anushka Sharma, commonly known as “Virushka” together has never stopped openly expressing their love for one another and in one such instance, the actress, posted a picture of them together with the caption “Thank God for his birth,” on Instagram.
The duo are said to be celebrating Virat’s birthday in Haridwar and would be back after November 7 after which she would begin the promotions for her upcoming movie “Zero” where she would be seen sharing the screen space with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.
Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag, who is quite a witty personality on Twitter, once again pulled out a funny happy birthday message for the star cricketer.
He tweeted,” On this Dhanteras, wish you a year that is again filled with Runteras. #HappyBirthdayVirat.”
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) tweeted, “To many more match-winning knocks, here’s wishing #TeamIndia Captain and Run Machine @imVkohli a very happy birthday ???#HappyBirthdayVK.”
Former Indian middle-order batsman-turned-commentator VVS Laxman wished Kohli all the best for the next year.
“Wishing @imVkohli lots of success and fulfilment in the coming year. #HappyBirthdayVirat,” his tweet read.
Another Indian cricketer from the yesteryears Mohammad Kaif, who was one of the best fielders during his time with the national team tweeted, “With a magic stick in his hand, he brings us all to a standstill. A man who is redefining consistency and hunger to do well, wish you the very best times ahead @imVkohli and have a#HappyBirthdayVirat.”
Hailing him as ‘Cricket Samrat’, out-of-favour Indian batsman Suresh Raina tweeted, “Cricket Samrat, Happy Birthday Virat!
