Gurugram: Session Court Judge’s wife, son shot at; hospitalised
In a shocking incident on Saturday, an additional sessions court judge’s wife and son were shot by bodyguard in Haryana’s Gurugram. The incident took place in the wee hours and on a busy street in Sector 49 of the IT district of North India. The accused — bodyguard — has been arrested and the injured are hospitalised.
Briefing more about the incident, DCP East Gurugram said, as reported by ANI, “Gunman of additional sessions judge shot at the judge’s wife and son. Both injured have been admitted to the hospital.” As per the reports, soon after the shooting near Arcadia market in Sector-49, police were called and the injured were taken to the hospital, where there treatments are underway as they are reportedly critical. Police added that they have arrested the accused and are investigating the matter.

This is the not the first incident. Earlier in August, a 50-year old Non-Resident Indian (NRI) was beaten to death in Gurugram in city’s DLF Phase-2 area. Soon after the beating, The NRI suffered reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest and died after he was roughed up by a private guard, reports The Financial Express.
