Gurugram Traffic Police twisted Arijit Singh’s Pachtaoge to urge people to stay at home.

If you love listening to Arijit Singh’s songs, you must have heard his popular song ‘Pachtaoge’, which has garnered almost 370 million views on YouTube. Well, Gurugram Police have given a Coronavirus twist to Arijit Singh’s popular song ‘Pachtaoge’ urging people to stay at home during the lockdown.

As Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended India’s lockdown till May 3, 2020 due to Coronavirus outbreak, Police officials, celebrities and politicians have been requesting netizens to avoid social gathering to prevent the rapid spread of COVID-19. 

Gurugram Police took to Twitter and posted an image showcasing a person is about to venture out of his house. However, a tiny creature (portrayed as new Coronavirus) can be seen waiting outside the door to attack with an axe.

The punchline line of Arijit Singh’s song was “O mujhe chhod kar, jo tum jaaoge, bada pachtaoge, bada pachtaoge,” but sharing the creative picture on Twitter, Gurugram Traffic Police twisted the song and wrote a caption, “Ghar ko chhod kar, jo tum jaaoge. Bada pachtoge, bada pachtaoge,” the caption read.

Netizens seem to be quite impressed with the way Gurugram Traffic Police conveyed this important message on social media. Majority of the users are appreciating their creativity and calling it a nice one while others could not stop laughing.
