Gulabo Sitabo: Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana starrer gets a release date

Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana will be seen together in Gulabo Sitabo. The movie will be directed by Shoojit Sircar and is a family comedy-drama. Written by Juhi Chaturvedi, the movie will be produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar. Trade analyst, Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter handle to announce the release date of the movie. He tweeted, “Release date finalized… Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana… Shoojit Sircar’s quirky family comedy #GulaboSitabo to release on 24 April 2020… Written by Juhi Chaturvedi… Produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar.”

Earlier as reported by IANS, talking about the film, Sircar said, “Me and Juhi have been working on this script for quite some time…and as we all know, when Juhi comes up with a story it has her trademark quirk in it. As soon as I read it, I was extremely excited and shared it with Ronnie, my dear friend and producer and to both Mr. Bachchan and Ayushmann at the same time.”

Talking about the title, the Piku fame director said that Gulabo Sitabo is a fun colloquial metaphor used by the locals of Lucknow. The movie is set in the same place.

Big B and Ayushmann will be sharing the same screen space for the first time in the movie. Together this jodi is expected to create magic on screen.
