India is among the fastest developing countries of the world, but some instances pulls the country 1,000 years back. In a latest incident, a man allegedly committed suicide along with his wife and daughter in Ahmedabad’s Naroda locality on Wednesday, saying that he was under the influence of ‘black magic’.
As per Naroda police station official, Kunal Trivedi (50), his wife Kavita Trivedi (45) and their daughter Shrin Trivedi (16) were found to have hanged themselves at their house. The police have also found the suicide note in which Kunal had mentioned the reason for committing suicide.
Briefing the details of the incident, inspector H B Vaghela said, as reported by the NDTV, “We recovered a suicide note, which appears to be penned by Kunal Trivedi, saying he was under the influence of black magic.” The police said that the letter had been sent to forensic laboratory for verification of the handwriting.
The note states, as the police said, that Kunal had told his family members about him being under the influence of black magic, but they did not care and attributed his problems to his alcohol habit. He even wrote that his drinking is due to the influence of black magic.
The police have denied any financial crisis for the suicide and are probing the matter further.
