Grammy 2020 list came out sometime ago on Wednesday and ever since it came out fans have expressed their anger as many popular artists were not nominated in the list. Lately, BTS or rather called as the army was not nominated for the Grammys 2020 nominations.
It appears that the Recording Academy has snubbed the BTS. The Korean pop band which is popular all over the world so much so that Their Map of the Soul: Persona debuted on No 1 on billboard 200 chart. The Recording Academy didn’t give BTS their due importance at the Grammys 2020. The seven boys band who are namely V, J-Hope, RM, Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, and Suga was not at all considered for Grammy nominations. Meanwhile, many of BTS fans were angry and took to twitter and shared their anger for what happened. Not only that, Halsey who had collaborated with K-pop band on Boy with Luv sometime before this year, took to her twitter to join fans and express the similar anger for the BTS’ snub at Grammy’s nominations.
She wrote, “deleting and ignoring all negativity. BTS deserved many nominations. I am however, unsurprised that they weren’t acknowledged. the US is so far behind on the whole movement. the time will come.” Check out the tweet below.
Not only that, fans also tweeted expressing their anger over BTS’s snub in grammys nominations.
By the anger of the fans it is understandable why they are feeling this way. They can’t believe that such a popular band couldn’t bag even one nomination for themselves in 2020 Grammys nominees list.
