South Korean Band GOT7 Boyband has topped iTunes Chart With “SPINNING TOP”
GOT7 has reportedly touched yet another milestone this week. Yes, The South Korean Boyband formed by JYP Entertainment has topped the iTunes Album Chart. According to a report published in Soompi, GOT7 boyband has not only topped the iTunes Album Chart in one country but they also topped in 17 countries including Peru and Singapore.
They released their newest mini album titled “SPINNING TOP: BETWEEN SECURITY & INSECURITY” on May 20 along with the title track “ECLIPSE.”
The album placed No. 1 on Hanteo’s daily album chart on May 20 and 21 by recording an impressive amount of sales. In addition, the album has managed to top the iTunes album charts in at least 17 countries including Brazil, Hong Kong, and Turkey. The title track “ECLIPSE” also entered at No. 1 on iTunes song charts in seven countries including Peru and Singapore.
The South Korean boyband is currently preparing for their upcoming track “Keep Spinning” world tour, which they are likely, to begin with, a two-day concert in Seoul on June 15 and 16. Following the Seoul concert, GOT7 will then head abroad to other countries in Asia, North America, South America, Europe, and Australia.
