Google Trends 2019: Top 8 most searched popular songs of the year

The year 2019 saw a variety of highs and lows in the music industry. There were some hard-hitting original compositions and also a number of remixes that hit the popular charts. These songs then went on to be a chartbuster. They were also the most googled by die-hard fans.

Here we share some of the most searched songs on Google Trend. The diverse list comprises of not only Bollywood tracks, but also a number of independent artists’ songs too.

1. Teri Meri Kahani by Ranu Mondal:

Internet sensation Ranu Mondal had locked her first original song with music composer Himesh Reshammiya. It soon went on to be not only a hit number but also the second most searched song of the year on Google Tred. This song changed Ranu Mondal’s life and landed her from an obscure railway station to a popular celeb.

2. Vaaste:

This extremely popular song produced by Bhushan Kumar under T-Series sung by Dhvani Bhanushali and Nikhil D’Souza has a whopping 64 million views on Youtube. The song that has been composed by Tanish Bagchi soon went on to most searched on Google Trend 2019.

3. Coca Cola Tu:

Sibling Tony Kakkar and Neha Kakkar rocked the charts with this song. It was soon recreated and used in Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon’s ‘Luka Chuppi’. The song soon became one of the most loved songs of the year and also most searched on Google.

4. Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas:

The classic song from Blackmail featuring Rakhee and Dharmendra went on to be the title song for the actor’s grandson Karan Deol. The popular recreated version showcased the budding onscreen romance between Karan and Sahher Bamba. Sung by Arijit Singh & Parampara Thakurthe song has 67 million views on Youtube. It is also the most loved and searched song of the year on Google Trend.

5. Ladki Aankh Maare:

This superhit song is a remix of Arshad Warsi’s hit number from his debut film Tere Mere Sapne. It was used in Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan’s film Simmba and went on to break records. Sung by Neha Kakkar, Mika Singh and Kumar Sanu, the song went on to garner more than 67 million views on Youtube.

6. Kya Baat Hai:

Harrdy Sandhu’s hit track ‘Kya Baat Ay’ is one of the most popular songs and has garnered 48 million views. The video features Brazilian model Carolina Moura with Sandhu and is one of the most searched on 2019 Google Trend.

7. Gori Tori Chunari Ba Lal Lal Re:

This Bhojpuri song is sung by Ritesh Pandey, Antar Singh and Priyanka. The song is quite popular and widely used on TikTok, the song has 29.7 million views on Youtube.

8. Teri Pyari Pyari Do Akhiyan:

The song was earlier titled Sajjna, and is quite popular on TikTok. Sung by Bhinda Aujla & Bobby Layal and featuring rapper Sunny Boy, it went on to be a hit with the masses for its catchy lyrics.

9. Le Photo Le:

A popular Marwari number Le Photo Le is sung by Nellu Rangili, Raju Rawal and Mahinder Choudhary. It is one of the most searched Indian songs of the year according to google trends. This quirky song and a homemade video had set the social media on fire.

10. Payaliya Bajni Lado Piya:

Payaliya Bajni Lado Piya is another chartbuster that went on to be the most searched on Google Trend 2019. The viral number that is sung by Shivani And Keshav is loved by the masses for its peppy beats.
