Not even a week passed that Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation Jayant Sinha appeared with mob lynchers in Ramgarh of Jharkhand, another Union Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Giriraj Singh met with ‘rioters’ in Nawada of Bihar. Not only that, Singh not only blamed Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for “framing workers” in false cases, but met the family members of one of the accused on Sunday.
Following the footsteps of Sinha, who has been in controversy over his statements for extending support to mob lynchers, Singh too met and extended his support to political workers who have been sent to jail for instigating communal tension in Nawada district in Bihar.

The Union Minister, who also hails from Bihar, said, “It is unfortunate that they have been framed in false cases by the state administration. They were only trying to maintain peace and harmony in Nawada when communal tension flared up during Ram Navami last year.”
Taking the opportunity to attack Bharatiya Janata Party leaders, the Opposition leaders in Bihar had stated that the BJP is attempting to divide the society by glorifying political workers who have been indulging in communal activities. Attacking BJP, Congress MLC Prem Chand Mishra said, “The NDA is in power in Bihar and if Giriraj Singh feels that the youths have been sent to jail on false charges then instead of giving statements in public he should meet the Chief Minister. This is nothing but an appeasement politics by the BJP.”
