A viral video featuring a giraffe and a pride of lions is doing the rounds of the internet. The video was originally shared by Kruger Sightings on YouTube in 2019. The video was recorded by a group of tourists at the Kruger National Park in South Africa. It managed to grab attention once again when IRS officer Naveed Trumboo of the Indian Revenue Service shared it on Twitter. The video conveys a message on perseverance and determination.
“A lesson on persistence. There will be many who will try to pull you down. But when the going gets tough, the tough gets going,” Naveed Trumboo said in the caption of his post.

In the video, we can see a pride of lions attacking the giraffe in the grasslands. But the latter refused to give up. One of the lions climbed onto the giraffe’s back, several others held onto its leg. But the giraffe refused to give up and the kept on standing for five hours after being attacked. The lions eventually gave up and the giraffe escaped.
Shared a day ago, the video gathered over 17,000 views. The numbers are increasing with each passing day.
