Only a few days left for the official release of the last season of Game of Thrones. On April 3, HBO held a big premiere in New York City evening for Game of Thrones season 8 and it was attended by almost all the GoT stars except Lena Headey, who was nowhere to be seen.
According to reports, Lena Headey, who plays Cersei Lannister in Game of Thrones was not well hence she could not attend the premiere. However, she took Instagram and written down an apology.

The premier show of Game of Thrones was attended by who’s who of Hollywood. Prior to the beginning of GoT premiere, all the stars who were present at the venue went on stage to welcome the audience. The name of the Season 8 premiere was not revealed before or after the episode screened. But had it been, we’d probably be killed by Arya Stark if we told you what it’s called.
The Game of Thrones casts was seen enjoying the premier. Among the celebrities who attended the events are
Emilia Clarke, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams, Peter Dinklage, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Sean Bean, Jason Momoa, Natalie Dormer and even George R.R. Martin.
It is to be noted that no one was allowed to click picture during the premiers and every detail of the season must be kept secret unless its official air on April 14. The most loved actors Sansa and Arya Stark were thrilled to see each other at Game of Thrones premiere. The duo posed together for paparazzi. Christie, who plays Brienne of Tarth in the show and has become one of the most beautiful still-alive characters, was spotted donning an Iris van Herpen gown which gained everyone’s attention.

The premiere screening was scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. ET, but it was delayed by 50 minutes due to stars’ speeches.
