Friends is an American television sitcom that aired on NBC from September 22, 1994, to May 6, 2004. Last year, in February 2020, after many rumours and anticipation, the cast announced that they are set to reunite which made our dreams turn into reality. It was scheduled to premiere in May, however, it was delayed due to the novel COVID-19 pandemic.
The cast-Jennifer Aniston (Rachel), Courteney Cox (Monica), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe), Matt LeBlanc (Joey), Matthew Perry (Chandler), and David Schwimmer (Ross) will be reuniting.
Now, finally, David has dropped major details about the reunion and it will surely excite you! In an interview on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy on Wednesday, he said that the cast will be taping soon and he will be heading out to L.A. ‘in a little over a month.’
Further, he said that the makers and the cast have finally figured out a way to film the reunion with utmost safety and there is going to be a portion of it that they filmed outside because of safety protocols. Schwimmer also rubbished the possibility of Ellen DeGeneres’ involvement.
Last year, The 54-year-old actor had appeared on the TODAY show and stated that the reunion will be unscripted, and surely there will be some surprise funny bits to it.
The show follows a group of six friends as they navigate life, love, and careers in New York City. The cast will be finally reuniting after 16 years. The American sitcom was touted as one of the most popular ones and is still the talk of the town among fans.
