Four siblings comprising of three sisters and one brother were found dead in a home in Haryana’s Faridabad. Police said the bodies were recovered almost three to four days after their death.
Police have recovered a suicide note from the home citing some financial trouble behind their death. The bodies of four siblings were found hanging from ceiling fans on Saturday. The deceased aged between 30 to 45 years and all were unmarried.
The bodies of siblings were found in their rented flat in Dayalbagh area after the caretaker alerted neighbours about the foul smell emanating from the house.
According to the Hindustan Times report, “Neighbours said the siblings had lost their parents, both retired government employees, a few months ago.”
One of the sisters had a kidney-related ailment and had to undergo dialysis often. In the last 6 months, they often borrowed money, neighbours told HT.
“Some of these family members were ill and financially weak”, said neighbour RP Joshi.
The bodies were sent to PGI Rohtak for an autopsy, Police investigations are on and details are awaited.
