Former Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh has been discharged from the AIIMs as he recovered from COVID-19 infection
Former Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh, who is 88-year-old was hospitalized at the AIIMs in Delhi after he was tested positive for Coronavirus. He was admitted to the Trauma Centre of AIIMS last week on April 19. According to the latest reports, he has been discharged from the hospital this morning after recovering well from the COVID-19 infection.
As per the media reports, Manmohan was vaccinated with two doses of Covaxin. The first dose he had received on March 4, while the second dose given to him is on April 3. Although there were no severe complications in his case, the doctors moved him to the hospital just for precautions.

For the unversed on Thursday i.e April 29, India recorded around 3.79 lakh fresh COVID-19 cases and over 3,600 deaths in the span of just 24 hours. This marks the highest ever spike ever since the pandemic hit the country. A total of 15,00,20,648 people have been vaccinated so far, according to the data issued by the Health Ministry.
