The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Bengaluru have arrested ‘Bigg Boss Kannada’ Season 6 contestant Adam Pasha. He is arrested under the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985. Pasha, arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Bengaluru, is accused of having bought drugs from a peddler named Anika D.
As reported by sources to Indian Express, Pasha’s name had cropped up during the questioning of Anika D. During interrogation Anika had told NCB that Pasha was a customer and bought MDMA in crystal form a number of times. A detailed investigation of Pasha’s call data records and financial transactions confirmed that he was using drugs.
Pasha, from the LGBTQIA community, is a stage dancer and the first drag queen of Bengaluru. Adam was selected for Bigg Boss Kannada where he won a lot of fans. He also took part in a dance reality show after that. He is also is a popular name in the nightlife scene on Bengaluru and used to host events at city hotspots.
The police have so far arrested Kannada actress Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjjanaa Galrani, party organiser Viren Khanna and realtor Rahul Thonse in connection with the case.
Ragini and Sanjjanaa are lodged in Parappana Agrahara Central Prison in the city. Ragini was arrested on September 4, while Sanjjanaa was arrested on September 8. The police had raided both their residences.
Adam Pasha was produced before the special NDPS court in Bengaluru and has been remanded in NCB custody till November 3.
