A flying adieu from a pilot daughter to her mother who was an air hostess
An Air India air hostess who wanted to take off her last flight with her daughter who is a pilot. Air hostess Pooja Chinchankar wanted her last flight to be piloted by her daughter Ashrrita Chinchankar which was a dream come true. Her daughter was very happy and flooded with emotions as she was able to fulfill her mother’s wish on her last working day.
Ashrrita had this privilege of piloting her mother’s last flight as an air hostess with Air India from Mumbai to Bengaluru. Her tweet about this privilege was massively appreciated and broke the internet with first five hours of tweet. Ashrrita wrote in her tweet that “It was my mom’s dream to have me pilot her last flight as an Air Hostess with Air India 🙂 As she retires after her glorious 38 years of service, I will be carrying on with her legacy.” She wrote this along with a smiling picture of her mother and her flight crew.

Several have commented to express how proud they feel regarding two women’s touching story while others have comments to wish both of them. Even Air India, businessman Harsh Goenka and Minister of State for Civil Aviation, Jayant Sinha retweeted the tweet.

How affectionate is this moment where a daughter and a mother has set an ideal example for today’s world. Ashrrita also shared a video in which her mum is seen receiving warm goodbye from the cabin crew and passengers on her last flight:

The moment deserves appreciation because it was the planned flight but it was a coincidence that Ashrrita was flying the aircraft which was her mother’s farewell flight.
When her mother Pooja Chinchankar was asked by her crew members what are her retirement plans that time she expressed she wants to travel for few months and then decide for what to do next.
