Fiza producer Pradeep Guha breathed his last; B-townies mourn

Pradeep Guha popularly known for producing Hrithik Roshan and Karisma Kapoor starrer Fiza, is no more. He breathed his last on Saturday on hospital bed. The filmmaker was in his late 60s and his family had admitted him to the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital based in Mumbai. Sharing the sad news, a source informed PTI, “He passed away due to cancer today afternoon at the hospital. He was 68-69.”

He is survived by his wife, Papia Guha and son Sanket Guha. The family has issued an official statement post his unfortunate demise. The statement read, “We regret to announce the sad demise of our dear Mr Pradeep Guha. In these COVID times, the family has requested to be allowed to grieve in private and will share a date for a prayer meeting in a few days. No condolence visit at home due to COVID restrictions. Please keep him in your prayers.”

Fiza of 2000, Phir Kabhi of 2008 are among notable films. B-town celebs such as Priyanka Chopra, Manoj Bajpayee, Adnan Sami and a few others share emotional posts on social media remembering the late filmmaker.
