Delhi-Dehradun Shatabdi Express train catches fire, passengers safely evacuated
A fire broke out in a compartment of the Delhi-Dehradun Shatabdi Express on Saturday. The incident took place in Uttarakhand near the Kansro area. The fire broke out in the C4 compartment of the Delhi-Dehradun Shatabdi Express, due to a short circuit. No injuries reported.

As reported by sources to NDTV, “Guard has informed that all passengers are safe and the fire brigade was informed. A total of 35 passengers in the coach were shifted and adjusted in other coaches. The train has departed for the destination.”
The fire which broke out in the C4 compartment of the Delhi-Dehradun Shatabdi Express train today has been brought under control. All the passengers were safely evacuated from the train.
Uttarakhand DGP Kumar said the train has reached Dehradun.
