Bollywood beauty, Fatima Sana Shaikh is currently promoting her upcoming film, ‘Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari’, which also features Manoj Bhajpayee and Diljit Dosanjh in the pivotal roles. The actress while talking about her acting career in Bollywood industry, opened up that she was jobless after the release of Aamir Khan starrer ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’.
As per a latest report by News18, the actress opens about being jobless when ‘Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari’ was offered to her. After the ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ failed to survive at the box-office competition, she was dropped out of few projects and few other projects went on to be kept on hold. “It was almost a month or two after Thugs had released. All the films that I had in hand, some were taking time, I was dropped out of others. I was literally berozgaar, and I wasn’t liking the films I was being offered,” recalled the actress while talking about the though phase in her acting career.
Shedding light up on recovering from the great failure, she stated further, “It is always very disappointing that you put your heart and soul into something which does not do well. So of course, that disappointment did exist. But at the same time, it’s taken me a lot of time and struggle to get into the industry. One flop, or even a thousand flops are not going to stop me from acting. So, I’m going to keep trying and I’m going to keep my hopes up about my future.”
Coming back to her upcoming flick, ‘Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari’ is set in the backdrop of 1990s Mumbai and so the character’s appear in different style. The plot of the film revolves around the life of wedding detective, who has to investigate about a prospective groom(Diljit Dosanjh). His life turns up-side-down, after he discovers that his sister is fallen in love with Diljit’s character.
