Bollywood actor Farhan Akhar donated a thousand PPE kits to the frontline heroes who are fighting COVID-19
Farhan Akhtar has been extremely helpful during the coronavirus crisis. Since there was a shortage of supply of personal protection equipment (PPE) for people working in the frontline, the actor came to their aid and donated a thousand PPE kits to the frontline heroes who are fightingCOVID-19 and also urged the people to donate as much as they can.
The Rock On actor motivated people to donate and recently he expressed his gratitude towards people who helped make the donation possible. The actor shared a photo on his Twitter handle and wrote, “Thanks for your support you amazing people. Our first batch of PPE kits are on its way to Vakola Police Station from the factory. It is important that everyone maintains a united front and battles the unseen enemy of the virus commonly by supporting each other and Farhan Akhtar has proved just that by also urging others to donate.
The actor also joined the I For India concert, initiated by him and his sister Zoya Akhtar and filmmaker Karan Johar. He aimed at raising funds to help the coronavirus warriors. The digital concert accumulated more than Rs 52 crores and personalities from Bollywood, as well as Hollywood, joined to make it a victory.
