Coronavirus: Farah Khan’s daughter Anya raises Rs 1 lakh by sketching pets

The most affected due to the coronavirus outbreak have been stray animals in India and everywhere over the country have stepped up to support. Among them was also film director Farah Khan’s 12-year-old daughter Anya, who has been accumulating funds by selling the sketches to feed strays and the needy.

The filmmaker took to social media and shared a video of her daughter sketching, she also announced that her daughter has collected a sum of Rs 1 lakh on Monday morning.

Taking to her Twitter handle, she tweeted, “As of this morning Anya has raised 1LAKH RS.. by diligently sketching for donations.. b4 n after school and all weekends.. thank you to all who ordered sketches n donated so generously!♥️ all being used to feed strays n needy”

A few days back, Farah Khan’s son Czar made a rap video about social distancing, quarantine and self-isolation. The director shared the video on her Twitter handle and wrote, “There s s new Rapper in town.. he s 12 yrs old.. n he’s very concerned about the pandemic.. At present, with 1,553 more coronavirus cases, India’s total number of coronavirus cases has reached 17,265, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said on Monday.
