Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh‘s much-awaited wedding took place as per Konkani tradition on November 14, 2018 around the serene beauty of Lake Como, Italy. Today they will be taking their wedding vows as per Sindhi traditions, if for the Konkani wedding the couple twinned in white and gold, for the Sindhi wedding they will be reportedly seen in red and black traditional attire.
No sooner did the news of them tying the knot went viral that wishes from friends and fans started pouring in for the couple. One celebrity friend had a special gift for the ‘Padmaavat’ stars, she is Farah Khan.
Apparently, when Deepika and Ranveer visited Farah’s home to invite her for the wedding, she gifted them a lifelong memento which had their personalized hand impression made by a reputed life casting artist Bhavna Jasra.
Talking to Times of India, Bhavna said, “Farah called me one morning asking me if I could come to her place, as she wanted to make a special wedding gift for Deepika and Ranveer. I heard them arrive and greet Farah with great affection. Farah then told them that she has organized a surprise gift for their wedding and called out my name to do the honors. They greeted me with happy smiles and on knowing what the surprise was, they gleamed with joy.”
She further added that she felt as if time stood still as DeepVeer posed for pictures with their hands tightly clasped.

On their return back home, Deepika and Ranveer will be hosting two receptions for their family and friends in Mumbai and Bengaluru respectively.
