Farah Khan Ali on suspending Rangoli Chandel’s Twitter account: ‘she spreads venom all the time’
Sussanne Khan's sister Farah Ali Khan in an interview revealed on why she reported Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel's Twitter account.
On April 16, 2020, Kangana Ranaut’s sister, Rangoli Chandel landed into trouble after her controversial tweet on Moradabad stone-pelting. Rangoli was soon called out by Sussanne Khan’s sister Farah Khan Ali and scores of other netizens for spreading hatred.
Commenting on Rangoli’s statement, Farah Khan Ali also tweeted to ‘arrest her immediately for spreading vicious hatred and for calling of killings of a community’ and also to ‘block this account for spreading religious hatred and fascism.’
Talking to Times Of India, why she suspended Rangoli Chandel’s Twitter account, she said, “I only reported her (Rangoli’s) tweet, and I know she spreads venom all the time against Muslims, I don’t know why, maybe she has a person thing or whatever, but it is upto her.”
Further, she said, “My Tweet to Jack, Twitter India was to only say that we don’t need hatred at this point. I have nothing personal against Rangoli, I don’t know her at all, we have just exchanged hi-hello in the past and I have had no conversation with her. I don’t know why someone who has been an acid victim would have so much hatred. Victims should become inspirational to others and pull them out, motivate them, not condemn and talk horrible things. After I reported it, she got blocked. She is entitled to her views but she keeps attacking people saying horrible things. But that doesn’t make everything she says true.”
Lastly, she said that during this difficult time everyone should come together, irrespective of their religion. “This is a time for humanity to come together,” she concluded.
