Malik Trailer: Fahadh Faasil Looks Fierce As Sulaiman

Malayalam superstar Fahadh Faasil is a man on a mission in Amazon Prime’s political thriller Malik. The action-packed trailer of the film was unveiled on Tuesday. The trailer follows the rise of Sulaiman Malik(Fahadh Faasil). The man who fights against land acquisition in the coastal area. He fights against corruption rampant in his village and goes to any length to achieve it.

The 1.23-minute-long trailer introduces Fahadh as the messiah of the underprivileged. He commands unconditional love and loyalty from the people of his community.  Going by the visuals of the trailer, the film will be about crime, politics and power. The movie tracks Malik’s story from childhood to the time he rises to prominence in his village. We see him standing up against the influential as they try to use their power to illegally acquire land.

Due to the pandemic situation, the makers have opted for a direct-OTT release. Fahadh Faasil requested everyone to accept the move as in the best interest of the film.

Malik is written and directed by Mahesh Narayan and produced by Anto Joseph. The political thriller also stars Nimisha Sajayan, Joju George, Dileesh Pothan and Divya Prabha in pivotal roles. It will be releasing on Amazon Prime Video on July 15.
