Eros Now Unveils First Day, First Show; to Stream Hollywood Movies

India-based OTT platform Eros Now announced today a new addition to its streaming service. The First Day, First Show service will let you stream Hollywood films at Rs.149 from the comfort of your homes. As per this service at least 10 films will be released over the next 18 months. The first being Gerard Butler’s disaster film ‘Greenland’ in March.

As reported by Gadgets 360, The new exclusive pay-per-view service is due to a recent merger of Eros Now and the Hollywood Studio, STX Entertainment. The new entity is dubbed ErosSTX and the movies coming to the platform are produced by STX Entertainment.

Speaking about the new initiative India CEO of ErosSTX, Pradeep Dwivedi said, “With cinema halls working on the best possible ways to open doors for movie enthusiasts amidst the pandemic, ‘First Day, First Show’ on Eros Now provides an opportunity for viewers to opt for the best of entertainment in the comfort of their own homes. The Eros STX merger enables us to offer premium content for our global audience base and Greenland is a first of many such exciting titles to be presented this year”

Here is the complete list of movies to stream on Eros Now:

1. Greenland featuring Gerard Butler was released in America through video on demand.

2.Horizon Line an adventure thriller starring Alexander Dreymon, Allison Williams and Keith David. Horizon Line premiered earlier in January in the US. It is next on the pipeline.

3. Queenpins the comedy features Kristen Bell, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Vince Vaughn, Paul Walter Hauser, Dayo Okeniyi, Joel McHale, Nick Cassavetes, and Bebe Rexha.

4. Copshop, action thriller featuring Gerard Butler.

5. American Sole a comedy-drama features Pete Davidson, O’Shea Jackson, Bad Bunny (making his film debut), and Sydney Sweeney.

6. Alicia Vikander stars in the adaptation of The Marsh King’s Daughter.

7. Elisabeth Moss leads Run Rabbit Run, a movie directed by Diana Reid and penned by novelist Hannah Kent.

8. Devotion is a big-budget US Korean war epic that stars Jonathan Majors, Glen Powell, Christina Jackson, Joe Jonas, and Thomas Sadoski.

9. Angelina Jolie and Christoph Waltz in Every Note Played, a drama based on the Lisa Genova novel.

10. Liam Neeson action crime thriller Memory adapted from Dutch film The Memory of a Killer.

As reported by Gadgets 360, Eros Now says that all the “First Day, First Show” films will “currently” only be offered on its streaming platform in India.
