The pandemic Coronavirus has witnessed a surge in the infection count and a gradual rise in death count was also recorded post the Diwali and other festivities. Amidst the Chath Puja celebrations, Delhi government is apparently considering to impose lockdown again, while Ahmedabad has already imposed curfew from Friday night after the recording increased cases. According to the latest reports, an entire village in Himachal Pradesh has tested positive for the virus and only a one man is said to have tested negative.
Except for one resident in the Thorang village of Himachal Pradesh, entire village tests positive for COVID-19 tests. The 52-year-old Bhushan Thakur was the only person whose test results have come out negative. The district has been one of the worst affected due to the pandemic outspread. As per the media reports, the massive outspread of the virus was due to the religious programme which were held few days back. The social gathering during the festivities, is being blamed for the community transmission.
Bhushan, whose five family members have tested positive reportedly said that, he has been staying in a separate room and he had been cooking his own meals for last four days. He was apparently with his family members until their came out. His test results are negative, apparently because, he was strict about the protocols such as sanitizing hands, wearing face masks and maintaining social distancing in public areas.
