Bollywood actor, Emraan Hashmi starrer ‘Harami’ has been selected in the main competition section at the Busan International Film Festival for this year. The film is an Indo-American production, which is written and helmed by Shyam Madiraju. It is hailed as one of the ‘hard-hitting flick set in the backdrop of crime, broken destinies, love, and relentless Mumbai life.
‘Harami’ is the only Indian film to be selected to compete with 10 films from 9 different countries. Due to COVID-19 situation, Busan Film Festival is the only one that’s taking place physically. Apparently, all the 194 films selected this year for the festival will all be screened in theatres.
As per a report by Dailyhunt, the Executive Producer, PAUL FEIG while speaking about the film, ‘Harami’, said that, “I absolutely love Harami. I think it’s the perfect blend of beautiful filmmaking, poignant storytelling, and amazing performances. All while keeping a firm eye on its commercial appeal.
