‘The Marvelous Mrs Maisel’ from Amazon won the award for the ‘Best Comedy’ at the 70th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards on Monday.
HBO’s dominance, for the first time in 20 years was brought to an end with the channel drawing with Netflix with 23 awards each. Henry Winkler won his first Emmy for his role in HBO’s show, ‘Barry’.
The award for the ‘Best Drama’ was bagged by ‘Game of Thrones’ while ‘ The Assassination of Gianni Versace: ‘ American Crime Story’ won the award for the ‘Best Limited Series.’
