Rapper Eminem is getting candid about his experiences with fatherhood and has talked about how proud he is of his daughter Hailie Jade Scott. Speaking on Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson, Eminem shared that “being able to raise his kids” has been one of his greatest accomplishments.
Eminem is especially proud of daughter Hailie Jade for not rushing through babies and going to college.
“No babies. Just a boyfriend. She’s doing good.”
Eminem also shared that Hailie graduated college with an impressive 3.9 GPA. Hailie studied Psychology at Michigan State University. “She’s made me proud for sure.”
Hailie is the daughter Eminem with his ex wife Kim Mathers. In addition, Eminem also spoke of his other children.
“I have a niece that I have helped raised, too, that’s … pretty much like a daughter to me, and she is 26. And then I have a younger one that’s 17 now.”
Eminem was referring to his daughters Alaina Marie Mathers and Whitney Scott Mathers. Alaina is the daughter of Kim’s late twin sister. The rapper adopted her after her mother’s death. On the other hand, Whitney is Kim’s daughter with a former partner that Eminem adopted.
“So when I think about my accomplishments like that’s probably the thing that I’m the most proud of, you know, is that — is being able to raise kids,” he said.
He added that it was important to keep kids grounded when they grow up with famous parents. Hailie is in a long-term relationship with Evan, who she reportedly met while studying at Michigan State University.
