Emilia Clarke opened up on being pressured to do nude scenes on Game of Thrones. In one new episode of Dax Shephard’s Armchair Expert Podcast Emilia Clarke disclosed that she was told she would disappoint her Game Of Thrones if she didn’t go nude for another project.
Meanwhile, the actress was interviewed by Shephard by unveiling about the initial nude scenes on Game Of Thrones. For the unversed, Emilia Clarke essayed the role of Daenerys on superhit HBO Series for consecutive eight seasons.
According to a report by US Weekly, “I’d come fresh from drama school, and I was like, ‘Approach this as a job.’ If [nudity’s] in the script, then it’s clearly needed. This is what this is and I’m gonna make sense of it,” she explained.
The actress further talked more on the subject matter. “I’m floating through this first season and I have no idea what I’m doing. I have no idea what any of this is. I’ve never been on a film set like this before, I’d been on a film set twice before then, and I’m now on a film set completely naked with all of these people, and I don’t know what I’m meant to do and I don’t know what’s expected of me.”
Gradually, Emilia Clarke recalls on pushing back on that kind of scenes and also having the support of her co-actor Jason Momoa. At present, for Emilia things are quite different than before. She believes that playing the Mother of dragons for eight years has now taught her to say it when she feels uncomfortable.
