Ek Villain Returns: John Abraham, Tara Sutaria starrer release date REVEALED

On Thursday, ‘Ek Villian Return’ got a release date. The star cast includes John Abraham, Disha Patani, Tara Sutaria, and Arjun Kapoor in the lead role. The film is a sequel to Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh, Shraddha Kapoor starrer that released in 2014.

Sharing the poster of the film, the official handle of T-Series announced the release date and captioned the post as, “Aapko shikayat ka mauka nahi denge. #EkVillainReturns. Coming in theatres on 11th February 2022. #BhushanKumar

The poster shows one can see a smiley emoji which was seen in the first instalment too. ‘Ek Villain Returns’ will be produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms. Directed by Mohit Suri.

This will be the first time that John and Tara will be working with Mohit Suri, Arjun and Disha have already worked with the filmmaker earlier in ‘Half-Girlfriend’ and ‘Malang’ respectively.  Reportedly, Tara will be essaying the role that requires her to sing and hence, and she has been prepping for it.

Earlier, the film was reportedly titled ‘Do Villain’ and was supposed to star Aditya Roy Kapur as one of the male leads. However, Aditya quit the project.
