Ed Sheeran Who Was Bullied in School, To Perform In Cape Town Show Today

Ed Sheeran, who is an English singer and all set to perform at concerts in Capetown on 27-28 March could not escape encountering racism in his school days. When Ed Sheeran was in school, he had a ginger heir and for which his fellow classmate bullied him, reported dailymail.co.uk.

Remembering his school days, Ed Sheeran recently said that he hated primary school with a passion. He used to cry every day while he was in school. In an Interview,  The Shape of You singer said, “I’m ginger, so I was instantly ripped into from the day I started school – ginger, had a stutter and wore huge glasses… just a bit odd.”

“I have always looked a little bit quirky and I never had much luck with girls. It was always like I looked a bit weird and then when I started playing music every time I would do a gig everyone was like ‘oh it’s the ginger guy with the small guitar’ and you get remembered for that,” Ed Sheeran stated.

However, he acknowledged that music has brought confidence in him and helped him to fit among his friends and gain recognition. Speaking about his passion for music, he said that he got to high school and started playing guitar. Later, he joined a band and music just one of these things which had given him confidence and made him feel wow…

Now, Ed Sheeran is one of the most popular singers across the world and going to perform today in The Mother City at Cape Town Stadium. His concert is happening in the same week as the Cape Town Jazz Festival.
