West Bengal: Earthquake of Magnitude 4.1 Strikes Durgapur; no damage reported
Earthquake of magnitude 4.1 on the Richter scale occurred today in West Bengal. The tremors were reported from Durgapur at 7:54 am, the National Centre for Seismology (NCS) confirmed. There have been no reports of any damage or loss of life as yet.

An earthquake of magnitude 3.8 struck 30 km southeast of Baharampur here on Wednesday. The information was shared by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.
