According To The Latest Reports, Odisha Reported Quake Of Magnitude 3.8 In West South-West Of Berhampur
An earthquake of magnitude 3.8 on Richter scale struck in Odisha. On Saturday, the National Centre for Seismology (NCS) informed about the same. According to the NCS, the quake struck 73km West South-West (WSW) of Berhampur.
According to the reports, the quake struck the region at 7:10 am today, i.e August 8. No big damage of property or casualty was reported from the region due to the quake. However, Assam too was shaken by an earthquake this morning. The earthquake measuring 3.5 on the Richter Scale occurred in Sonitpur. According to the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake struck at 5:26 am.

Earlier this month, an earthquake of magnitude 3.3 was observed several parts of Gujarat. In the month of June several quakes were recorded in Delhi, Maharashtra, and few other parts of the country.
