BTS is back with a bang as they unveiled their latest music video Dynamite. The K-Pop group dropped the music video for their latest single, Dynamite on August 21 at 1 p.m. KST. Within 21 minutes since its debut on YouTube, the video went on to garner more than 10 million views. The music video reached 98.3 million views in the 24 hours after premiering on YouTube and officially hit 100 million views in 24 hours and 27 minutes.
BTS’ ‘Dynamite’ MV officially broke the record for fastest to reach 100 million views in YouTube history. The Bangtan boys beat BLACKPINK to reclaim the YouTube record for most views in 24 hours.
Dynamite happens to be the group’s first-ever song to be released entirely in the English language. As per Variety, the video also created a record of “most-viewed YouTube Premiere with more than 3 million live concurrent viewers.”
The popular K-Pop boy band had announced the forthcoming album on July 26 during a broadcast on V Live. They announced the title of their single as Dynamite on August 2. A few days ago, the Dynamite Official MV Teaser was released. The teaser left the ARMY’ eager for the full version.
The popular band will premiere the TV performance of Dynamite at the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) on August 30.
