Amazon Prime Video has shared the trailer of the upcoming supernatural drama Dybbuk. The movie features Emraan Hashmi and Nikita Dutta in lead roles. The horror thriller Dybukk-The Curse Is Real is directed by Jay K, Dybbuk. It is an official remake of the hit Malayalam film Ezra featuring Prithviraj Sukumaran and Priya Anand.
Sharing the trailer Amazon Prime Video wrote, “Something lurks inside this ancient box of secrets. Do you have what it takes to unleash the contents of this Dybbuk? Watch #DybbukOnPrime, Oct 29 (sic).”

The trailer offers a sneak peek into the life of a married couple Mahi (Nikita Dutta) and Sam (Emraan Hashmi). The duo moves to a coastal city to get over a recent miscarriage. Mahi brings home an antique Jewish box that turns to be a Dybbuk(Dybbuk in Jewish folklore is a malevolent wandering spirit). She unknowingly unleashes the horror. The couple then seeks the help of a rabbi (Manav Kaul) to fight the evil spirit.
The film is helmed by Jay K who also helmed Ezra. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar of T-Series in collaboration with Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak of Panorama Studios.
Starring Emraan Hashmi, Nikita Dutta, Manav Kaul and Anil George, ‘Dybbuk’ is all set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on October 29. It will release across 240 countries and territories worldwide.
