Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson just proved that his enormous muscles are not just for show. The onscreen action hero channelized his inner Black Adam as he ripped off the gates of his house with bare hands. The actor did this feat so that he will not be late to film scenes for his debut superhero movie.
Dwayne Johnson shared a photo on Instagram showing a ripped metal gate. Johnson shared that he himself wrenched away the gate, hinges and all after a power outage locked him inside. The Rock said that he had to go to work and did not want hundreds of crew members waiting.
He wrote, “Not my finest hour , but a man’s gotta go to work. We experienced a power outage due to severe storms, causing my front gate not to open. I tried to override the hydraulic system to open the gates, which usually works when power goes out – but this time it wouldn’t.”
“Made some calls to see how fast I can get the gate tech on site, but I didn’t have 45min to wait. By this time, I know I have hundreds of production crew members waiting for me to come to work so we can start our day. So I did what I had to do. I pushed, pulled and ripped the gate completely off myself,” he added.

He further revealed how his move left everyone “in disbelief.”
He finished his post by saying that he was then “ready to be BLACK ADAM”.
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson will don the role of DC Comics anti-hero Black Adam in Jaume Collet-Serra’s movie. Black Adam is scheduled to be released on December 22, 2021.
