The coronavirus pandemic has halted the release and production of many films. But to the delight of many locked in self-isolation, the makers of highly anticipated Hollywood flick Dune have unveiled the first look posters. The sci-fi film which is an adaptation of a 1965 novel of the same name features Call Me By Your Name actor Timothee Chalamet. The movie also features Oscar Isaac, Zendaya, and Jason Momoa in pivotal roles.
Denis Villeneuve who is known for directing Blade Runner 2049, Arrival and Prisoners is leading this project. The first look posters have made us believe that this is going to be one of the most visually stunning movies of the year.
The movie that is based on the novel of the same name, follows Duke Leto Atreides (Isaac), his concubine Lady Jessica (Rebecca Ferguson), and his son Paul (Chalamet). They are seen embarking on a journey to Arrakis (aka Dune) to harvest the most valuable substance in the universe. They soon land into trouble as it is the only source of melange, a drug with life-extending properties.
