South superstar, Mohanlal’s upcoming family drama, which is a sequel of popular film ‘Drishyam’, has been making headlines for a while now. The film is being helmed by Jeethu Joseph and it is set in the backdrop of family values and crime. After completing his shoot schedule the superstar now heads to Dubai.

The shooting of ‘Drishyam 2’ had commenced last month after a long break of pandemic Coronavirus lockdown. Alongside Mohanlal and Meena, Ansiba Hassan and Esther Anil are portraying their onscreen daughters. Reportedly, the makers had planned to shoot for 56 days with the star, however, they are said to have wrapped up the shoot in just 46 days. After completing his shoots, the star has now jetted off to Dubai for a mini break after his intense work schedule. This movie is expected to be released in theaters alongside other films.

On the movie fronts, Mohanlal might soon start the shootings of B Unnikrishnan’s upcoming directorial Udayakrishna. This film is considered to be big budget extravaganza worth the investment of Rs.18Cr. Renowned actress, Shraddha Srinath to portray the female lead, while it also features Sai Kumar, Siddique and Ashwin Kkumar in the key roles.
