Drishyam 2: Mohanlal and Meena Starrer Goes On Floors

Malayalam superstar Mohanlal made an announcement regarding the sequel of his much popular film Drishyam on his birthday. Actress Meena will also be seen in Drishyam 2. Today the makers have shared pictures of the puja ceremony confirming the film has gone on floor.

Yes, The sequel to Mohanlal’s blockbuster movie Drishyam has hit the floors on Monday, 21 September. The makers have launched the Malayalam movie with a customary pooja held in Kochi.

Drishyam 2 has gone on floor in Kochi on Monday. The cast and crew reportedly underwent a COVID-19 test before joining the sets. Mohanlal is expected to join the team on September 26.

The Malayalam film ‘Drishyam 2: The Resumption’, is being helmed by Jeetu Joseph. The prequel was a crime drama. It dealt with how Georgekutty (Mohanlal) smartly protects his family members from going to jail. The movie went on to be a blockbuster and was made in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada too.

Drishyam 2 will have Mohanlal in the lead, with Meena returning as the actor’s onscreen wife.
